Decorate Your Home This Autumn With Few Simple Tips

The autumn decoration is made of delicate textures and calming colors that are just perfect for one to lounge in. This season comes with full of rich tones and textures that gives our homes a visual warmth for cool and fresh wheather when we spend more time snuggling up inside. This is a time when minimalism is definitely out-the perfect time to overlay new textures and new colors in your home.
Here is the guide from top interior designers of India for your home to be comfortable in the fall.
  1. Winter Spice
Cooler weather definitely favors warm and spicy tones as well as palettes of richer hues - ferny green, plum burgundy, sapphire blues, mustard gold, spicy oranges. And, my favorite one in this time of year, rich in rust. These tones helps you envelop inside, bringing in a vision of warm to a room and creating a rich and inviting space.
To Do List
  • Combine rich and spicy tones with neutral tones such as tan, rust, and gray to refresh your look.

  • Add a touch of these richer tones with gorgeous cushions and a throw. Or my favorite- occasional chair with rich tones, which will not only elevate the scene in any space, but it will also be the ideal comfortable corner to relax.

  • Create the ultimate cozy nest by bringing rich and delightful shades to your walls. Don't let the dull and darker tones intimidate you and don't be afraid to paint all the walls of a room rather than just a typical wall. The right tint can create a unique and elegant cocooning effect-perfect in cold weather.
  • Play with colour blocking- Create an opulent look by repeating the same rich color in different textures and tones. Or even a more eclectic and trendy vibe by mixing different shades of the same colour. Also mix your metallic accessories-the metallized ones perfectly compliments against richer tones.
2. Touchy Textures
The coldest months are devoted to the overlay of tactile textures-they invite not to mention adding the instant comfort factor to any space. Add texture with blankets and discard loose and open fabrics, pieces of fur (a furry skin draped on a chair or couch adds instant comfort to a space) and luxurious velvet cushions. These accessories soften a room and help create your own unique stamp on a space.
To Do List
  • Don’t ruffle the soothing ambience of your home by bringing in a whole store of different textures. For example, limit it to three winter textiles in a room- a fluffy fur, a textured rug and a thick throw.

  • And when it comes to the size of your fall accessories, always think about big. If in doubt, always opt for the larger size. Improve the size of your cushions. Make sure your throws are super generous-as much as you can snuggle up against a couch.
3. Velvet Touch
Velvet occupies a central place and the good news is there to stay! Nothing lends itself to the spicy shades of autumn or justs the luxury ambience as does the velvet.
To Do List
  • The Velvet bedding associated with the linens is one of my favorites, creating a texture and a luxury worthy of a hibernation.

  • Do not think that velvet necessarily requires a lot of maintenance. There are fabulous velvets-solid and versatile of many fabric houses that are very friendly for families, some can even be cleaned with sponge.

  • Sofas and Velvet chairs adds an instant elegance to any space. But if you don't want to engage in such a room, the velvet cushions are the perfect solution to add a touch of luxury.
4. Comfortable fragrances
Cold weather is a perfect excuse to light a scented candle-at any time of the day or night! It's an affordable luxury for anytime anyday.
To Do List
  • To welcome the winter, choose candles with musk or sandalwood scents.

  • Combine your candle with a platter with a wicker for a perfect touch of autumn comfort.

  • Always remember to burn your candle for at least 2 to 3 hours the first time you turn it on to completely melt the top of the candle. This gives it its "memory ". And it also helps to fill the room with its fragrance releasing its most perfume. Before reigniting the candle, cut the wick about 3 mm above the solid wax so that it does not smoke or sparkle unevenly.
